Nestled among some of the most stunning homes and landscaping in Toronto, Forest Hill Village retains its rural roots while offering all the luxuries one desires.
Walking the “Village” within two blocks will give you a sense of “neighbour meeting neighbour”, a small town feel in the big city!
First known as Spadina Heights, the name was changed when the village was incorporated in 1923 and renamed Forest Hill after the summer home of John Wickson built in 1860.
A century and half later, local bylaws are reflected in the beautifully designed mansions and decades old trees gracing the streets of Forest Hill.
Spanning a short stretch of Spadina Rd around Lonsdale Ave., Forest Hill Village is part of Forest Hill, the neighbourhood bordered by Cedarvale Ravine on the west, Avenue Rd., on the east, St.Clair Avenue on the south and Briar Hill Ave., on the north.
See if you can spot references to the original Forest Hill Village crest when you're in the neighbourhood.
